The MCU has found its Black Bolt

News just came in that Marvel has cast Black Bolt for the upcoming Inhumans show on ABC: Anson Mount of Hell on Wheels fame.  The show will be an eight episode series with the first two debuting in IMAX theatres September 2017.  Jeph Loeb, the head of Marvel's Television division, was quoted in the story put out by Marvel as saying, "Anson loves the challenge of playing a character who communicates silently" with showrunner Scott Buck adding "Black Bolt is a character whose deep complexity must be conveyed without uttering a single word, and I'm very excited to have Anson on board to bring him to life". Anson will be joining Iwan Rheon, a.k.a. Ramsey freaking Bolton on Game of Thrones in bringing the Inhumans to life on the small screen.

For those who don't know the Inhumans, they are a new class of superpowered individuals much like the X-Men.  Black Bolt is their leader, who can use supersonic screams to destroy pretty much anything.  The only thing is he can't turn that power off, so he can't communicate with friends without blowing them away.  Marvel's got some work to do in order to bring this character to life, but I have faith that Mount and the creative team will make it work.

Excited for the show? Wondering who else is going to be cast? Think Anson Mount will do a good job? Let us know what you think!
