Friendly Neighborhood Reminder: Spider-Man Homecoming Out Today

Spider-Man's long awaited debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally here, and it's already off to a great start.  Sitting at a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes (average critical rating of 7.6), it's right behind the 2004 classic, Spider-Man 2 for best rated Spider-Man film.  For those of you eager to see it, you should be able to find a nearby theater playing a showing tonight.  For those of you REALLY eager to see it, the first four minutes of the movie are up on Youtube, and you can check that out down below.

Early tracking for Spider-Man: Homecoming has it set to make anywhere between $80 to $110 million, which puts it right in line with the first two Tobey Maguire films and ahead of the first Andrew Garfield Spider-Man.  If it really does well, it could top Spider-Man 3 for best Spider-Man opening weekend, but we'll have to wait and see.  Whatever the case, it doesn't seem like Sony and Marvel are too concerned, as they've already greenlit a sequel set to release on July 9, 2019.  If the Tom Holland franchise can maintain these strong numbers, maybe we'll get to go more than 3 years before the next reboot happens.

So what do you guys think? See it already? Getting your tickets this weekend? Let us know!
